There are two ways on how to wax your body hair:

Either method of waxing can be applied to any part of the body, except the areas near the eyes. It is up to the individual’s preference as to where they want the hair removed, as well as where they want it removed.
Hard waxing is applied in the same manner as when soft wax is used, except that hard wax is meant for a deeper layer of the skin, as it is removed faster. It is removed by means of strips, which are pulled off in the opposite direction from the direction in which the hair grows.
Both of the above methods of waxing are effective, though the type chosen is also different. Though both of them primarily target the hair follicle, the two are actually different due to the amount of time it takes for the hair to grow back (the hair follicle’s growth period). Hair grows back very quickly, within a week or so, so you may need to shave as soon as the stubble appears. Stubble may take up to 3-4 weeks to appear, when it is the most stubble-free. For best results, shave at night when the skin has Recovery Time; during or after a shower or bath.
Depilatories soften the hair so that you can simply touch it up before going to bed. It does not make hair grow back thicker or faster, and does not cause ingrown hairs or irritation to the skin.
Plucking or tweezing is a good option for removing hair between eyebrows, for removing stray hairs on the upper lip, and for removing stray hairs on the chin and nose. Because the hair is plucked from the root, the hair takes longer to grow back.
Waxing
The longest lasting temporary hair removal method is waxing. It’s best on thick, stubborn hair, such as arm or leg hair. Hair is removed by applying wax to the skin, let dry, and placing cloth strips on top. The wax attaches itself to the hair, and when the strip is removed, the hair is also pulled out by the root. Unlike when tweezing or shaving, you cannot pluck or tweeze eyebrow hair.
There are several types of wax, each with different properties and uses. It can be done with heat, sugaring or wax strips, or with a cold or wax mixture. Waxing is very precise for hair removal, and because it locks in the hair follicle so that it stays away for a long time, it can be a good way to keep hair from growing back.
