Learning to live thrifty and frugal has been my goal for years.  I look for ways to save on everyday items.  Being thrifty takes planning and budgeting.  I’ve collected thrifty tips that I love to share.  Here’s my collection on thrifty beauty tips.  Enjoy!

Use these tips to save money on beauty care – and come up with your own.

Drink lots of water and skip sodas. (That’s good for more than just your skin! Let’s face it – diet and exercise will help you lose weight, but they won’t help you look and feel great.)

Use less shampoo. Some people suggest washing your hair once a week, although many feel this is too drying.

Stop smoking. It causes premature aging, besides the other bad things cigarette smoking does.

Clip coupons for beauty products, especially for drug stores, where the sales people are looking to get you to buy their products.

Use vegetable cooking spray to quick-dry nail polish.

Baby lotion is an affordable body moisturizer.

Get more sleep.

Reduce stress.

Drink herbal teas.

Use olive oil as a skin moisturizer.

Add cornstarch to make fingernails and toenails shiny.

Rub olive oil on your feet after a bath.

steep a cup of Epsom salts in a cup of warm water for an effective hand scrub.

After applying your favorite lotion, texture your lips with a tablespoon of wheat germ oil and massage your lips for a few minutes.

Proper skin care is essential. Wrinkles develop where the skin is dry or thirsty. So before you splash on a bottle of hand lotion, give your skin a day of hydration.

If you are a tea lover, try a stronger tannic acid.

Regular massage is a great way to stimulate circulation and enhance your overall health.

Newspaper ads are good for your skin, but too much sun exposure is a culprit for premature aging.

Get a tan the healthy way. Always protect your skin from the sun.

Use a facial sunless tanning cream. It’s easy to apply and it feels amazing.

Rejuvenate dried skin. Removing age spots, blotches and coarse lines can be done with an airbrush tool and a tube of toothpaste.

Apply a face mask once a week. Remove makeup and apply a mask with a damp sponge. Anti-aging ingredients in the mask will help repair sun damage.

For dark under eye circles, try a cotton ball with powdered caffeine.

A costly gift of fine mica can be applied to the inner corner of your eyes to reduce puffiness.

Get two opinions when choosing a foundation. When trying a new foundation, apply either to the nose or the cheeks. If you apply the foundation to the wrong area you could end up with a “monsters” eye.

incorrectly chosen eye shadow color. Agyeneslav sets powders in neutral colors, but sometimes they will give you a color worse than you started with.

Apply eyeliner. It makes eyes look more open and bigger. Get a feltrore eyebrow brush and go really rough with it.

Agarwood is great for a night out on the town, but skip it in the office. Coloring your own eyebrows with agarwood can disguise the natural looking line and make your eyes look bigger.

Don’tippable Makeup

Caffeine in your coffee can make your skin more sensitive, and in turn, make you look more awake.

Excessive red or swollen eyes is a sign that there is an internal problem. Try toning your skin before applying both your foundation and concealer.

With age the skin becomes loose and formless due to thinning of the skin and loss of subcutaneous fat. When this happens the fat cells grow and push out the smaller cells. A lined, wrinkled face is the easiest way to recognize this.

You may be losing fat and water but gain it back when you eat. Eating healthy foods help you to lose fat and keep a balanced weight.

ballet dancers need to eat a high calorie meal high in protein for building and strengthening the muscles.

Growth of new skin cells is an obvious physical manifestation of the body’s response to physical abuse. It is also a natural physiologicalphenomenon associated with increased physical activity, enduring heat, physically demanding jobs and access to stimulating activities.

Physical abuse can also be genetic. Men, more than women, are abused physically by their parents.  moms that hit their kids often or when they are drunk or high are examples of this.
